The box is a little big or rather long. It leaves very little space going up to a 3.5 in drive cage. Had to run some cables through the drive cage. Other than that it works great.

Junk cables. Fire hazard!

Come on evga. It's 2022 and you are STILL shipping a Gold rated psu with gpu pigtails. It's disgusting looking. There are 4 included 8 pins for gpus all with pig tails hanging off.. thats 8 gpu Connectors. Well a single 8 pin is rated for 150 watts. Well 150x8 is 1200 watts!!!! So you are setting ppl up for failure if they were to be dumb enough to run multiple sli cards off of this or mine. This makes the cable management in the system horrendous looking. Even with the 150w x4 u are asking 600 watts for gpus leaving 200+ for the remaining system. My 12th gen cpu alone pulls over 200w. Do you guys even think? STOP USING PIG TAILS BEFORE SOMEONES HOUSE CATCHES FIRE!!

Upgrading from a Roswell 650 bronze because I’m going from a GTX 1080 Ti to a RX 6900 XT and figured I’d future proof.
Overall the look and finish are top tier. Cables are plenty long and a thicc power cable is included.

I did not like the way the 8pin GPU pins are daisy chained on the end. This is a fire hazard as a single 8 pin cable is not supposed to be able to flow that amount of current. It also looks terrible.

Now the biggest issue I have is that the PSU crackles under load (maybe 450watts?) Ryzen 5800X (Undervolted) and a GTX 1080 Ti (OC, stock volt, AIO cooled). And if I could I’d post the video of both of the PSUs I got as even the replacement makes a crackle, albeit it is at a higher pitch now.

Overall I’m happy just curious of how it will sound after I add even more load to it. Will update in the future after more testing.

Does it impede my day to day? No, but if I’m aware of something it will always be in my mind. I’m wondering if anyone else has been picky enough to notice or not. Given my PC is quiet enough i can hear it from my chair when the PC is only 3 feet away from me.

Update: I have now ran both power supplies again and the original one is just hilariously loud at this point. It's basically screaming under load with the RX 6900 XT. The 2nd one is more of a crackle but not nearly as loud. Definitely going to look into a different brand in the future.
