This is my review of the 10th Anniversary Qwirkle Game. Ok I have to confess that I am slightly addicted to playing Qwirkle! I just love this game and luckily, so does my neighbor and my husband. We try to play anytime we get a chance. So I have the original Qwirkle Game. I wanted to get this one because it comes with the trays and score book. I also wanted to keep one in my Motorhome all the time. I love the way this game makes you think and stratigize in order to win. Great for people who are getting older to keep your mind sharp. My Grandkids love this and we play it all the time. It has to be my number 1 game. This set is just like the original set only it includes the trays to put your tiles on , so your opponents can't see what you are doing and a score book to be able to keep score. I have a peice of rubber shelfing that I cut to play on any surface so that the tiles do not move around and it is easy to fold up and place in the tile bag. Maybe the company will take note of that and come up with there own version. Love, Love, Love my Qwirkle Game!

Absolutely LOVE this game. There is a lot of strategy involved. My husband and I really enjoy this game - and we are in our 60's! I'm so happy a friend of mine, who is halfway across the country, recommended it! I purchased the Anniversary edition. It is nice to have the extras, but not at all necessary. I had thought maybe the trays to hold the game pieces would be necessary as are the trays in Mah Jongg, or the trays in Rummi Cub, but they are not needed at all -- the playing pieces are small wood blocks which easily stand up on their own. The scorepad and the pencil are cute but also completely unnecessary. Scoring is just as simple on a regular piece of paper. I suppose if you're giving the game as a gift and want it to be a little more 'dolled up', you may want to buy this 10th Anniversary Edition. Whatever you do, if you enjoy games, you've got to buy this one!

In the reviews I read, I didn't see any mention of the included bag being too small. Ours was. When we filled it with all the game pieces, it was completely stuffed. There was NO room to stir or shake the tiles to mix them up, in fact they barely all fit in it. We found another larger cloth bag we had at home to use in it's place. It allows us to stir the tiles to mix them up and to draw from. I suppose you could also use a small gift bag. Maybe the bag we got was just a dud - it really was not an issue, the problem was easily solved.

I can't wait to introduce my Mah Jongg group to this game. I know they will love it too!

A great big thank you to Susan McKinley Ross for inventing this game!!! You are amazing :-)

A fun game. Takes about 45 min - 1hour to play with two people. Much quicker with three and four players. Fun and easy to learn.

Fun game which makes a great gift idea for almost all ages from youngsters to seniors! Colorful and thought-provoking! Usually the first time players are the big winners in my experience!
