This review is for style number 43116 from the Classic Collection, Slim Double Zip Crossbody. I bought several of Travelon purses from Amazon to pick the right one for a European trip. The rest were returned. This one and another I kept. I paid full price for this bag and wasn't given anything for this review. Of course if someone would like to give me something, I'd gladly accept :-)
I love little this bag. It has 6 separate spaces with 3 of them on the outside. The bag is 10" tall. It's 8.5" from side to side. Each side of the bag has an outside pocket. One side has two pockets that lock together; the other has one pocket with just a snap. The pockets that lock together are 5” and 6” deep and about 8” wide. The pocket with just the snap is 9” deep.
The middle pocket is the big one. It's about 10x8.5". It also has a locked zipper. On the inside there’s a designated space for several RFID protected credit cards, a zipped pocket, a small flashlight and a pocket for a cell phone the size of a note 4 with a bulky case. The pocket is roomy enough to hold 8 credit cards, a cell phone, a Kindle, lipstick, a tissue packet and a guide book. There’s no room for an umbrella.
The compartments are just very well thought out and practical. The entire outside of the bag is wire protected and the strap has a wire in it. The strap has a locking ability which can be used when you're at an outdoor cafe by locking your purse to the chair so some purse snatcher can't run off with it. The strap also has a wire in it so it can't be easily cut. The shortest the strap can be is 15" the longest is 30.
