3.0 out of 5 starsI would say never eat as part of a raw food diet

I took this and added to some black beans after they had cooked and both of us had gotten nauseous and puked for several hours. Studying up on it, apparently many people have similar problems involving Buckwheat and a raw food diet. I put my review down to the middle based on the sickness, I'm not sure what the case is, but apparently it is common if the Buckwheat isn't sprouted long enough or sprouted too long or something. I am sure there are no worms, this is fresh and kept sealed inside a plastic sealed box, I think the worms mentioned in the other review may have come from leaving the bag open and flies getting to it, I doubt that's the case here. I think this bag just needs a warning "Do Not Eat Uncooked", which it does not have. As far as the flavor, it was great, but had a bit of a strange raw taste to it which you don't want which obviously will seemingly go away after breadmaking. I had soba noodles which really tasted strong, this doesn't taste strong like that which is much appreciated. I got a huge thing of soba noodles here cheaply, and I love it NOT for it's flavor, the entire reason I am making my own bread is there is some type of conspiracy against Buckwheat and Spelt bread. All that is in any of the stores now is Wheat and Whole Wheat. I follow the diet "Eat right for your type" which dictates not only is Wheat to be avoided by me, type A blood diet, but all others as well. My studies into wheat are pretty bad, involving leakey gut problems and everything. I'm going to give it another shot and bake some bread with it, we were out of eggs, it's the only reason I had put a small raw amount into the beans in order to test it out. I have an egg free recipe for bread, but I'd rather start with the conventional egg bread as I've never baked bread before. I have a feeling this will be great in bread as intended, and never to be eaten raw like our other survival foods we have in powder form such as the peanut butter protein powder and Truenutrition Beef Protein Isolate which I eat raw all of the time with no problems at all. Also Sheerness is level 3 because of course, what is Sheerness?
