This literally took 10 minutes to remove from the box and set up! I'm already so impressed with the quality of sound and the way it fills the room. No more cranking the volume up to 70's and 80's trying to hear low conversations in movies then frantically turning it down when action scenes come on! Easily syncs with iPhone via Bluetooth for pretty decent sounding music, too. I'm only sorry I didn't buy this sooner.

Works great. Very easy to install. I used the optical cable to hook it to my TV which was just the one cable, easy to hide and long enough. I didn't mount it but rested it on the table. Great sound. Would buy again.
Cons: the plug for the power cord is one of those humongous plugs that fit nowhere so I had to reconfigure my plug arrangement on my power strip. So a different style plug would be nice but it's still a great unit.

I was looking for an affordable yet quality sound bar to add to my entertainment system. I love this one! I connect my phone via Bluetooth when I'm cooking and it fills the whole apartment. It made watching tv that much more enjoyable. Keep it up Amazon

A friend recommended this sounds bar to me. I am particular about sound and usually buy speakers from Sony and Bose. This is the first time I purchased a speaker from Amazon Basics. This sound bar's sound is definitely beyond my expectation. I enjoy using this sound bar to watch TV.
I read from the reviews that there is complaint about the volume. My living room is about 300 square feet, and my TV is about 10 to 13 feet away from the sofa. I have no problem with the sound bar's volume. I would not turn it up to the highest volume when watching TV or videos as it would be too loud. I took a short clip and attached it here so that future buyers can have a better idea. I turned the sound bar to its maximum volume when recording the clip.

I bought another set of Sony's for my living room. Then for the basement, where I have my home gym setup, I decided to give this one a try. It's not my first AmazonBasics purchase and I'm very happy to say that in the sense of you got what you paid for, they did a pretty decent job. The sound is loud and clear enough for me, although without a lot of base, since it doesn't come with the subwoofer (it's only 70 bucks!!!). But I'm only using it to mostly streaming youtube shows while working out.

This this is certainly basic but fills the need. I picked this up for a home office attached to an older 1080p 42" TV. The sound quality is much better than the built in TV speakers and having the bluetooth is a huge bonus for me. I can just turn on the sound bar and stream music from my Fire tablet. It's no $400 system but if you just want something a little better than what's on your TV currently this fills the need pretty well.

I'm very impressed with the overall build and sound quality coming from a soundbar at this price point. Set up connecting is a snap right out of the box I appreciate that a optic cable is included as well as the wall mount, mounting to a wall is a breeze and using the optic is defiantly the way to go for best sound quality. I believe this soundbar is an all around good budget friendly alternative to other big name soundbars.

Amazon Customer Service rock the body that rock the body! I had to return the first one. It was packaged in a gigantic square box. After I was having trouble with it, CS automatically had a new one sent. The sound bar works. The remote is ka-ka. It's just wonky. It has a Bluetooth button on it [the remote] that doesn't seem to work. I know it doesn't work, only because it worked on the previous system before having to return it. But, I really just need it for the tv. No other complaints about that. But the main thing is the sound bar. It sounds good.

Quality sound for a small room. This is not loud enough for people who have a large room, hard of hearing for generally want to have there sound overly loud.
Pros: Great product for the price. Easy to hook up. Has optical cable included. Easy to use remote control. Great sound. Great value.
Cons: No volume led indicator on soundbar. No loud enough for large room or elderly folks.
Would I buy it again? Yes, however not for my dad who's is hard of hearing.
