May not fit Arca Swiss socket

I used this to adjust the balance of supertelephoto/DSLR combo when using a gimbal tripod head. I don't think I can mention the brand of gimbal here, though I did purchase it through Amazon. The problem is that this gimbal head said it took Arca/Swiss quick release plates, this plate has too thin a dovetail cut in the side for the gimbal head socket to tighten completely allowing my camera/lens combo to slide back and forth uncontrollably. I was able to attach a thin shim to the Arca/Swiss style socket to make up the difference and it now works OK. I couldn't see sending the plate back as it only cost $10 but unhandy photographers may want to beware ordering this part.

I bought a gimbal head that came with a 70mm plate, but that plate wasn't long enough to balance my telephoto zoom lens. I bought the 120mm Fotasy plate and am glad I did.

It fits and works well. Would be five stars if the finish and QA are managed by the manufacturer. My piece came with a few pin sized dings. Guess I'm nit picking
