I've ordered two rolls so far. I may have seen some reviews prior to purchasing but I don't recall the negative comments that I'm now seeing in the reviews as I went to order my third roll. FYI I'm using lots of rolls because I'm placing them along the walls in a couple rooms as I find this extremely helpful in outlining thoughts on a great many subjects including building a pc, implementing a smart home (which is a long project unless you have tons of money to throw at the most expensive products on the market and don't have a job which takes up most of your time), and contemplating why "it is what it is".

At any rate, in response to the negative reviews...
1. I have never seen any "brown spots" and I'm not really sure why it would ever come like that but I can more easily understand how someone could receive a product, store it or use it inappropriately, then attempt to return the product only to have the return rejected, and then furiously write a negative review of the product as a result. That is not to say i believe 100% that they are lieing but given my set of knowledge there is a high probability. I will have to defer to my fellow man who is more knowledgeable in fields such as chemistry to comment on "brown spots". My two rolls came unblemished.
2. Regarding the review and pictures posted with it falling off the walls, i smell a rat which might be a competitor selling similar but smaller rolls for $30+. If you take this roll out of its box , unroll it, and immediately apply to the wall, then yes it will come off. Something rolled up usually doesn't immediately lose that shape just because you've stuck it to anything unless it's weighed down or stuck to something with extremely strong adhesive. Since the manufacturer probably doesn't want to be sued by idiots who wrap themselves up in this product, they do not use an extremely strong adhesive. Since I didn't want to use super glue to attach it to the wall, I took no seconds to contemplate a solution which is to weight it down on the floor for a day or two prior to placing on the wall. The result is that the product is hanging nearly entirely as it was when I originally placed it on the wall with the exception of some minor peeling after a few weeks which is easily solved with the magical wave of my hand and saying the word "Stupify". For those who may have posted those reviews, "Stupify" is a joke aimed at you so don't attempt to use it to solve your problems.

My suggestion for anyone reading this review, buy this product as I am human being like you and I'm a very genuine one who is seeking no profit except the exposing of idiocracy. If you don't believe me, use fakes pot.com and search for this product to see if amazon is riddled with fake reviews on this product. I never did given how basic this product is.

One thing I would say for negatives is that the extra large is not big enough for me; although it may be for most people. I want extra extra extra large size so that I can draw out my plans for world domination.

Choose wisely my fellow human beings and non-fellow muggles.

Okay, I'm keeping the product despite it coming with some weird brown spots as another review mentioned. Mine weren't nearly as numerous as their's was, hence I decided to overlook it and not return the product because I really wanted it to work. I was able to get it on in about 15 minutes (definitely recommend having a squeegee and going slowly). It feels like a whiteboard, which is nice, but it's true that regular whiteboard markers (mine are Expo Low Odor) leave significant ghosting just seconds after being on! I tested writing a word and then waiting 5 seconds before removing with a regular whiteboard eraser. There was ghosting. I seriously didn't think I'd see ghosting unless I left the marker on there for at least a few minutes. It took a lot of scrubbing with the eraser (a paper towel actually worked better) even with the Expo eraser spray! Too much honestly. I'm going to keep it and see how well it works over time but I do not have high expectations and I would suggest you look for another product.

My boss asked us to paint the boardroom wall with whiteboard / dry erase board paint, and as usual, I went a different direction… and I’m happy I did!

My first order of Mr. White Board was just 2 to test the quality.

Let’s just say that I was not only IMPRESSED by the high quality of this whiteboard wall decal, but I was also relieved I wouldn’t have to paint the entire boardroom!

Flash forward about 18 more rolls, and we’ve got our entire boardroom wall, and entrance wall covered (see pics & my sweet in-office basketball skillz for proof).

Definitely a great product, and a total time & money saver!

I ordered the decal to create a message board on our standalone pantry (an ikea sektion cabinet). Other decals have peeled off after a temperature or humidity change in our house so I created an outline with washi tape to make it have a nice edge (the matte white of the cabinet door with the shiny white of the decal would have been a little weird otherwise too) and hopefully stay put. The instructions say to sand the surface a bit before attaching so that it will stick better, but the whole point for me was that it be a non-permanent change so sanding was a no-go, making the decorative tape doubly necessary.

So far the ink comes off well without ghosting but we've only had it for a week. I made a mark in a corner to test so I'll see how that looks when I wipe it away in another week or two.

Small drawback- the efficient rolled-up packaging also made the decal difficult to unroll and measure/cut smoothly. I was holding down the curling up decal with shoes on the corners while measuring and cutting, and the sticky side kind of bunched on the removable side. Nothing an exacto knife couldn't fix. Also, I've been emailed every two days since the purchase (5 emails now) by the vendor. Great that they're passionate, but also a little intense. I guess it's working though since now I've written a review!

Bought the XL size. Very good value, for ~12 feet of this. Height of the roll is 45 cm (and I didn't measure the length out myself). I cut out 2 strips - each 130cm long, and doubled up on the short end, and still have a bit of roll leftover. Perfect for me because I need big whiteboards to think clearly when I study. Expo white erase markers write well and erase well. Only put it up for a few hours, but it doesn't seem to have any problems with stickiness to the wall.

As a mother of 2 and a 3rd grade school teacher (I know, crazy right?) I’ve been looking to paint both a wall in my classroom and my kids walls with whiteboard paint…

UNTIL I FOUND MR. WHITEBOARD!

This awesome little product was half the cost of whiteboard paint, is removable, and took me a whopping 10 minutes to turn my entire wall into an awesome whiteboard!

BUT…

What was really cool, and on the suggestion of one of my students, we ordered a few more and covered our craft table.

It was super easy, and turned out so well, I even did it at home for my kids!

Also, being the avid Amazon shopper like you, I always appreciate seeing the pro’s and con’s - so here ya go :)

PRO’S:

● Mr. White Board was super easy to install.
● MUCH less expensive than other dry erase board & whiteboard paint options.
● High quality whiteboard material.
● Dry erase markers wipe off easily, and don’t leave “ghosting” marks.
● Glue hold strong and lasts!
● Doesn’t feel cheap… you get a LOT for the price.

CON’S (not many):

● As with any whiteboard wall decal, you’ll need to have a smooth surface to stick it to.
● Although large, if you have a big area you’ll need to buy a few (depending on your need)
● I found a few small air bubbles after my first try, but they were easily removed with my credit card.
● Really that’s it for the cons...

So overall, Mr. White Board has turned out to be a fantastic product, and in fact, I plan on buying a few more for this Christmas as gifts for my teacher friends and fellow parents!

5 out of 5 stars!

Thanks Mr. White Board,

Kate

P.S. I’ve attached a few pics here to show you the table we covered!

I love this adhesive white board roll. The peel off backing is a grid, so it is easy to measure out slices if need be. It sticks to surfaces well enough that there is no need to worry that the sheet will fall off of a wall, yet it is easy enough to peel off that there is no need to worry that the white board sheet or the wall will be damaged when it is removed. The board takes on the shape of whatever surface it is on (so it will be smoother if placed on a desk surface rather than a bumpy wall surface), so the difficulty in writing on the white board varies a little bit. If it is on a bumpy surface, then letters written on it may appear a little shaky (which is to be expected). The only downside is that typical white board erasers tend to smear and leave residue on the white board material. This product is definitely a five star for its price.

After reading reviews about white board paint I searched for other options and was very happy when I found Mr. White Board. It was easy to put up and has the option to choose the length you want. I used a credit card to smooth it down as I applied it to avoid bumps. Once it was up on the side of my fridge I used it immediately to put up my grocery and to do list! Still have more to put up. love it!

Used this to cover over a chalkboard board that was in a nice decorative frame that my wife found at Goodwill... Easy to cut to an exact size with the grid on the peel off back paper... now we have a nice whiteboard inside the decorative frame that works great, and when the whiteboard material starts to wear out, I can replace it with another sheet of Mr. WhiteBoard... great!!!

I am in graduate school and let me tell you, I was going to buy a 5 feet tall white board costing me 150$ but then I found this peace! Its amazing! It does the same thing as a white board. So now, if you want to install it, its just a adhesive that will come out within a day so get an industrial tape and line it around the adhesive. I used a transparent tape so you can't see anything but it "erases" better than a white board and doesn't leave residues. You don't even need an eraser, just a cloth will do great!
