I'm pretty happy with this. It'll go down to 36 degrees which is all you need for some nice cold drinks - for the sake of comparison a full-size fridge only goes down to 34 and most people keep them at around 37. I haven't tested out the stated capacity, but it certainly holds more than I've put in there too date. It's fairly quiet - you actually don't hear the compressor at all. It's the fan that makes a little white noise - but it's nothing that will bother you in a quiet room. The shelves can be adjusted or removed to suit your needs, and they have a stop. So you can pull them out to get at stuff in the back, without accidentally going too far. I also have a NewAir wine fridge that's been going strong for 5 years, so they are reliable. My complaints are few: The LED lighting is not great - it sits at the top and the bottom is pretty dark. A white interior instead of black would have helped with that. Also, the door will not close by itself. It has been left open a crack many times because people are used to regular refrigerators where the heavy door tends to close and seal itself when pushed. This won't. Some competing models have open door alarms. That would have been appreciated here.
Is this as good as a Marvel or a Summit? No. Those are American made units with commercial grade build quality that cost well over $1k. This is made in China, clearly intended for causal home use, and the components are decent, but not the highest quality out there. It's good for what you pay - but you get what you pay for.
Pros: Front exhaust, huge capacity, quiet, adjustable and removable shelves, lock for the door, door is reversible.
Cons: Wire shelves are flimsy, the lighting is inadequate so the black interior is too dark, no door open alarm.
Conclusion: Highly recommended.
