I didn't know what to expect & I definitely thought it was too expensive BUT there's a BUT. This stuff is amazing & I have just purchased this one again & the chicken one for the first time. I also have the bisque flavor after I bought a bunch of seafood from an Alaskan Seafood Company. You just need a little bit and it goes a very long way. The commercial says it makes things taste like they have been marinating or cooking for hours and that is a fact. Finally some truth in advertising and boy am I happy. This can take over the use of a lot of other the seasonings that are usually too salty. This being bullion of course it contains a ton of salt but you're using so little of it and you're the one adding it so whatever you're cooking you can control the degree of how salty something is quite easily. The mushroom one really makes things taste amazing. I actually sauteed mushrooms and used a very little amount of it in the browned butter and it just enhances the flavor. It is terrific making fish and chicken with it & was easy & I had coated both with just a little & used some herbs which made everything easy & perfect tasting. I'm glad I spend the money, I'm not going to lie I do think it's overpriced but considering all the uses & it's a really good product that I'm already ordering again. I really can't complain about much else. I am definitely going to continue to buy this and use it and enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone and if anyone has any questions that I might be able to answer go ahead ask but my guess is the answer to most of your questions is , it's wonderful, it's worth it and it's okay to spend a few extra dollars if you're getting maximum use out of a product and I am. Go ahead and buy better than bouillon and see for yourself.
