Terrible experience. I ordered this along with other items for a special occasion for my daughter. I paid with prime shipping as I always do. Amazon kept assuring me my package was on its way and to check back only to tell me at the last minute days later, it was “lost” and fully due to Amazon’s fault. It was sent by thier representatives from an Amazon facility in my own state to an entire different state (on the same day I ordered it). Amazon is often late with packages, so that’s not my biggest issue— what I am most disappointed in is the way I was treated when I spoke with a customer service supervisor and she told me “if you read the message on the app, I can’t do anything more for you then the app.” Why is there customer service? She was condescending and offered less service than the rep. They didn’t even bother to try and order a replacement, only when I pointed out how poorly she was transacting with me — I had to go round and round to get any kind of assistance. There was a time when Amazon valued the service it gave to customers. I hope that someone from Amazon will play back my experience on that customer service call (with a supervisor no less) and reach out to me. And please don’t just read the transcript of the call, play back the call so you can hear the tone of the exchange and level of frustration I was left with by the way she spoke to me. My only recourse is a review, but as someone who shops Amazon daily, has Amazon video and music subscriptions, and Alexa in every room, disappointment in my experience is an understatement. I value the convenience but I also value being treated with respect as a consumer.
