Kay Chandler's third Volume in her 4 volume Reunion Series, I'm Gonna Sit Right Down & Write Myself a Letter, is another touching story about characters who lived in a small town in south Alabama. Her setting is real. I know because I lived there and the characters she brings to life could easily have been my friends growing up. Again she shows how our plans are not always God's plans but we can return to God's plan when we are willing to pray, trust, and follow His will. Good job, Kay!
Possibly my favorite Kay Chandler book yet. It's like choosing which of your children is your favorite, though. It's amazing how she forms the characters in her book and the twists and turns they take on their journey. Loved this one fur sure.
It was interesting how Mack's father and Liz's friend managed to try to find a love match for Mack and Liz. The joke was on them. They were the love match. I loved the story. I love that it was set in Geneva. Great memories! It took me back home to Southern Alabama. It made me home sick! Next, I'm on to Volume Four in this series. I love Kay's books. I've read 7, and I'm on to number 8!
