1.0 out of 5 starsOLIVE DRAB strap. Slips off my shoulder Basically comfortable, but I wish it were grey.

UPDATE: After using this strap for 8 or 9 months, I can definitely say I hate it. The material on the pad is relatively slick and I'm constantly dropping my bag. I'm disappointed with Osprey, here.
First, the strap is definitely GREEN, NOT GREY. It's more of an olive drab. To be clear, this is not a mistake, like they sent me the wrong item. The packaging states "Shadow Grey" and other products across Osprey's product line with that same designation have reviews saying they had this same green tint. They know it's green because they even have green trim on the pad. See this strap in contrast to my Hoodoo Red Porter in my photo. Even the mesh in my photo looks more grey than it actually is. I wish it came in more than one color, or a more universally matching color like ACTUAL GREY.
Second, the strap is not as pictured, but I think it's better. That one looks like the pad is sewn in, but this one is not. The padding is foam mesh like the backs of many backpacks or electronics bags. It feels comfortable so far, and I like how it resets on my shoulder with no hard edge, since the edge of the pad is rolled over the strap.
As mentioned in other reviews the hooks are plastic. They will squeak if I swivel them, but I haven't noticed it just walking around. I'll see how they hold up over time. Plastic is stronger than people give it credit for, so I don't anticipate the thick part breaking. If anything it'll be the clip or the swivel.
