My husband and I have gone through so many sets of cookware, only to be disappointed in their longevity. We generally adhere to the manufacturers recommendations for cooking and cleaning, but time after time, they just do not hold up. So once again, we were on the hunt to a new set. I searched through Amazon's selection, and found the Circulon. I had never heard of this particular style, so I went and researched it. It turns out that it seemingly had really good reviews, with some indicating that they had had more than one set over the years. That speaks volumes to me; however, I wasn't yet convinced. I decided to go to the Circulon website. I poured through every detail and description, from how it's made to the different styles. It all sounded great, but I was still a bit reticent. I decided to add it to my cart and think about it some more. I waited a while. It also cost quite a bit more than the other sets we have had, so I didn't want to jump right in and be disappointed again. So they sat and sat in the cart. I kept seeing them. Then one day a while later, I opened up the item and description again, browsed through it, and the reviews. Refreshed my memory again about the brand. I decided it was time. The set we were using at the time was not in the best, optimal condition. My husband agreed. I ordered the Circulon. To say I was nervous, but excited was an understatement. We did not want to be disappointed. The cookware arrives. No outer box dents. The outer box was very sturdy. Upon opening the box, I notice that the cookware was well-packed. I removed all the items. It looked beautiful. The color is gorgeous. The cookware is not light weight, but not heavy. They are well made. I was excited to get started. Read all directions first. Hand washed them. Does say they can be used in the dishwasher. We have tried that with one or two of the saucepans a couple of times, but are a little afraid that over time, that might not be the best option. Nothing happened. They came out great. Our personal preference though, will be to handwash. We have now had the cookware about a month. They heat up very well. Instructions said to only set the temperature low to medium for cooking. Never on high unless boiling water. I still don't use high for that either. They recommend to not use any cooking spray. We don't. You don't need it. Everything that we have cooked has turned out well. We have used them just about everyday since receiving them. Cleanup is super easy. We have not tried them in the oven as of yet. Because I cannot speak to how this cookware will do long-term just yet, I will say that so far I am very impressed with them. It is a beautiful set. I look forward to using them each day.
