I've had wine glasses broken, chipped and shattered but I never wanted to jump on the bandwagon of "unbreakable" sets because I didn't believe they'd actually perform as advertised. However, after Thanksgiving I finally broke down and ordered a set. I searched high and low and most sets looked like cheap plastic and had ugly seams but not this one! In the pictures it looked so much like regular glass that I had to order it for myself. All I can say is WOW! Even my very picky wife was fooled! She kept tapping on the glasses saying "so this isn't glass and it won't break." Then the unthinkable happened. Someone knocked a full glass off a shelf that's approximately five feet off the ground. The wine went everywhere, but the glass wasn't even scuffed. We cleaned up the mess and refilled that bad boy. This glass set has already survived three different "get-togethers" and every time I hear the cup bounce off the floor I smile a little bit thinking about the old buzz kill it was to have to stop enjoying myself to clean up glass when an old-fashioned wine glass fell and shattered into a million pieces.
