This is a pretty good deal for 4 lbs of quinoa if you get it for just under $15. Do I particularly care whether it's organic? Nope. Nor do I care what color it is---as far as I'm concerned, this is just "regular" quinoa. All I care is that it cooks up fluffy in the rice cooker (it does), and that the bags have decent zip-lock closures for storage (they do.) No grit as far as I can tell either.
Compared to my local Safeway, which has sky-high prices (thanks, San Francisco) this is a fair price for a meal-time staple.
