I was so excited when these wine glasses arrived yesterday. They were so tall and elegant looking! My husband and I used them at dinner right away and loved them.
Then I went to wash them.
One lightly brushed against the wall as I picked it up, causing a giant crack down the side. "Wow!" I thought. "What bad luck to hit it at just the correct angle to crack it! And it was brand new too! Oh well, I still have three more."
I carried the other glass over to the sink, soaped up a sponge, and began washing. As I started washing the rim of the glass, a giant piece just broke off in my hand! (See attached photo.) Keep in mind, I'm a petite woman with virtually no upper body strength. If I can accidentally rip off a piece of glass, anyone can, including kids who are helping with the dishes.
While it was kind of cool to feel like the Hulk for a second, I would strongly recommend against buying these glasses. They're a waste of money and potentially even dangerous.
