Purchased this because of the price and compactability. I live in Hawaii but took a trip to Canada with upcoming travel to Germany and needed a warm coat. The temperature in Canada was chilly (lows in the upper 30s) and this jacket kept me very warm. I ordered a small and medium and ended up keeping the small. I am 5’9”, 125 pounds, wear a size 2. The small is perfect. The sleeves from armpit to sleeve are 21” which is perfect for me (see photo). Some have complained about not getting the bag - mine had it, and it does squish into it! Perfect for keeping in your purse on the plane until you get to where it’s cold!
I do not recommend buying a larger size to accommodate a bulky sweater, since I comfortably wore sweaters under this. The jacket is meant to be fitted and buying too large means you’ll get wind coming up the bottom. I took off one star bc there is no hood and as others have said, there are no internal pockets. I did a quick whip stitch to turn the liners into internal pockets. It is questionably water repellant (my experience was the rain soaked right in, though it did dry out overnight), and I will be purchasing a water proofing product to take care of future issues. Remember, you can machine wash down, but put clean tennis balls in the dryer and fluff frequently so the down doesn’t clump.
If you order the pink, the color is a bit darker than pictured on the model, who probably had a bright light shining on her. It is more along the lines of the shadows in the picture. Still love the pink!
