Moved into a new place after having moved and sold most of my stuff. I needed tongs, I don't want metal tipped tongs that could scratch my non-stick cookware. These seemed to fit the bill, and they do. What you see is what you get. I've only had them a few days so check back in a year, but they are exactly what I wanted. I didn't even need two of them, but it comes in two so what the heck. More the better. Good price, the quality seems more than satisfactory. They work great and they don't seem like something cheap that is going to fall apart. I didn't rate the heat resistance. I use them to turn over frying bacon or grab things out of my Ninja Foodi. Works fine for that. I'm not dipping them into an oil-filled deep fryer vat so I couldn't tell you how they'd handle that. Who uses oil-filled deep fryers anymore when you can have a Ninja foodi? :)
