Id like to respond to the person that says this book is horrible and all about hate. Hate hate hate. Always about hate. Cop pulls u over they must hate you. You get a bad grsde the teacher must hate you. Give it a rest. Unlike the binary world of black and whites that you live in my friend, this book is independent of all party line nonsense. Its very factual, ingenius and quite gripping. I find it challenging to sit down some times to read some of the dry political/historical books that I frequently peruse, but Mass Hysteria is not one of those. Im buying a copy of it for all my intelligent friends and family members that wont waste my efforts to bring about a rationale discussion left or right without the Hate, Hate, Racist! Of the Hysterical Commie Media Complex. Why dont u actuslly read the book before you give it one star tough guy.

Not Bad....but.....

Not a bad read. But, unfortunately, like most of his books, it's largely just a transcript of his radio show. If you listen to his show on a regular basis...there's really no point in buying his books. It's kind of a cheap, if not deceptive, way to write a book.

Nothing New Here!

I can't take it anymore, Michael! I've had it! You have gone over the cliff. I used to love listening to you to get your perspective, but now all we get is your ego. You can be very perceptive at times, which is great, but more and more you trash your listeners, your fellow conservative broadcasters, and even the guy you claim you helped win the presidency. Screw it! You aren't telling us anything new anymore. It's the same old crap, all stemming, I think, from Trump not appointing you to some advisory position and then you being miffed. Grow up! I'm out of here.

Savage = Creator of Hysteria himself

I use to be a huge Savage fan. Listened to his program religiously, bought some of his books, and believed almost everything he said. Then not long ago I got blindsided with a dose of Savage Reality. He was sitting in a diner ranting about Trump bombing Syria, then declared to the world that he was ashamed to be an American. Went on & on as if he had better intelligence than the Trump admin. But Ashamed to be American? After my anger subsided, I began to see Savage through a clearer lens. Similar to the snake oil salesman, Glen Beck, Savage gets his audience worked up in a frenzy to keep their attention and instill anger & paranoia. And while he's got your attention, he sells you a book. And hopefully maintains his current audience while growing larger. I understand that this is part of how capitalism works but creating hysteria, then selling a book about how hysteria will destroy us is hypocritical. No, his audience isn't out smashing Starbucks windows and burning police cruisers but they're in a hysteria none the less and it's dangerous because they can't see the real world through their Savage hysteria, tinted lenses. And the country isn't as bad as Savage and other radio voices would have you believe. I will give credit where credit is due though - Dr. Savage (Michael Weiner) is a smart guy with an impressive academic resume, and he knows how to write. I'm sure he has more money than he could ever need so I wish he would redirect his efforts to making the world a better place rather than contributing to the hysteria that is dividing us.

Save your money

Horrible book. Mr. Savages book is full of historical inaccuracies and deletion of important historical fact. This book is nothing more than a collection of his hate filled rants against President Obama and the left. He depicts any thing not politically right as communism, yet never explains what communism and socialism really is all about. The book will appeal to those that love Trump and hate Democrats. Save your money
