I made eggs last week in my traditional metal cupcake pan, and they were dried out and stuck to the pan. It took so much soaking and scraping to clean the pan. I wanted to just throw it away! I started researching silicone bakeware immediately, and I chose these.
1. These don't turn white at all when twisting/stretching.
2. I did not grease the cupcake "pan" at all before I added the eggs and they literally slid out of the pan! I was giddy like a child. Lol
3. There was next to no residue left in the "pan", and it just wiped out with a paper towel.
This was a great purchase, and I can't wait to use these again!
