Carplay works with Iphone 15 pro max

I bought this adapter and used the cable that came with my iphone 15 pro max. It worked with no issues with carplay. I had issues using other data cables because the car and phone kept connecting and unconnecting.

Was missing the little claw to attach the lanyard (circled in the attached picture)

The pack of two was shown with the circled necklace style "claw" to attach the lanyard to the USB adapter. It is nearly impossible to attach the lanyard without this claw. I specifically bought the pack of two, because the individual (qty of 1) was shown without the claw and to my disappointment, the pack of two also came without the claw. Change the pictures or include the claw as shown.

Works well to adapt USB-C to USB-A. The main reason I got it over others, however, was because it comes with a loop for hanging it. It works well - I keep it with my Yubikey and a tiny SD card reader on a lanyard that I wear when I am at work.

I definitely recommend it if you want to keep it on your keychain, or other means of hanging it.
