I've had these pans for several months. Honestly, they suck. Here are my reasons why:
1. Both the lid and handles get very hot on low to medium heat. I have to use a hot pad just to cook with them. The first week I had them, I figured they would work like my old pans and when I went to lift the lid, I burned my fingers. Nope, my cheap old pans had better lids.
2. The handles are very slippery, so if you're trying to pour out water or tip the pan in any way, you have to use a death grip or a glove. The handles are very round, skinny and don't have any traction. They are very badly designed for gripping. They are a lot more frustrating than I thought they would be.
3. They are the opposite of non-sticking. I've watched videos on stainless steel cooking. I tried seasoning the pans with different oils, but nothing improved the situation. I've tried adding more oil, nope. I've tried different levels of heat, but that didn't make a difference. If I'm cooking eggs or anything that might stick, it will definitely stick to these pans.
4. Due to the above, they're also somewhat annoying to clean when there is stuff stuck to them. The pots are easier than the pans, but ultimately not a great experience.
I know these are not professional grade steel pans, but I would think several hundred dollars would buy me half-decent ones. I will give them one point in this review, they do seem to cook pretty evenly. That's the only plus and why I gave them two stars.
