Easier Than Parchment Paper

I have used these in quarter sheet baking pans in my Brevel BOV900 Smart Oven for everything from baking and/or roasting, chicken thighs, meatballs, Yukon Gold and sweet potatoes, to asparagus and mixed vegetables. I have also used them to freeze (after cooking) all of the above plus things like ripe bananas, which peel right off without sticking, as a prelude to vacuum sealing for long term storage. Even when freezing chicken roasted with a sauce, allowed to cool and then frozen on the silicon lined pan the cleanup is no harder than if cleaned immediately after cooking. And, if your feeling a little lazy and don't even want to exert that much effort they are dishwasher safe for top rack cleaning.

Get them out of the kitchen

I received mine last night. They looked pretty good, slightly thinner than Silpat, and a slightly less silicone slimy feel.
Unfortunately they couldn't stand the heat in my toaster oven (Breville smartoven). I washed them and baked them for 5mins in 300F, and I saw a small puff of smoke when I opened the oven. I figured it was oil residue from manufacturing, so I baked them a more to get rid of the residue. Tried 420F, 400F, 380F, and 350F, all resulted in more smoke coming out.
The mats themselves looked fine after baking, not burnt nor melted. I don't know if food will stick to them, but I don't think I'll try since I don't want them to touch anything I would eat.

I was using these mats for the past 5 weeks to bake bread. Since the first use, they were very hard to wash. I would soak them overnight, use soap or a silicone scraper, but to no avail.
For the past 3 days, my batard loaves of bread stick to the mat. During oven spring (when the dough is rising) the dough is pulling the mat up, and the mat gets warped around the loaf. I had to use a spatula to break the crust from the mat.
I missed the return period by 4 days, so I can't return them and have to throw them away.
If you don't mind stained and sticky mat, then this product is for you. I'm going to try another brand or return to using a parchment paper.

I really wish I would have bought this sooner just thinking about how much parchment paper I've wasted. I've known about silicone baking mats since 2009, but I just obliviously kept using aluminum foil and then parchment paper. Truthfully I think the reason why is because I think silicone baking pans are awful and I figured this would be just like that

Anyway it took being isolated at home and not being able to go and get my treasured parchment paper to make me finally try these oh, and I'm glad I did.

It took a lot of searching to find the right size for the baking pan for my toaster oven, it's a nice fit as close to perfect as I'm going to find. They're easy to use and clean, and simple to store. You don't need oil, because nothing (so far) has stuck to this mat.

No more wasted parchment paper in my home or in the landfill. Yay!

Excellent for use with 9" x 13" sheet pans

We use these with 9" x 13" sheet pans and SS cooling racks in our Breville toaster/convection oven. This combination works so well, we often choose to use these instead of our full-size range oven.
Excellent product, that yes, will stain, but all silicone baking mats stain when used for certain purposes.
Chocolate chip cookies release quickly and easily with no residue left behind.

A little too large for standard quarter sheet pans

The silicone itself is good quality and works well. The problem I have is it doesn't quite fit a quarter sheet pan like it's supposed to. Not sure why they made this slightly larger all around and for what purpose then it serves. It's unfortunate I had to return.

I love these things. I use it all the time with my flat pans. I bought a new flat pan at the same time I bought these, and so far the pan still looks brand new because I always use these with it. I don't even have to really wash the pan after I'm done with it, rather just wash these and then rinse off the pan.
I'm looking to get a smaller set as well, because although this set works perfectly with my larger flat pan, it doesn't fit my smaller flat pan. It overhangs on the edges and is hard to use with it, though not impossible. I'm hoping that after buying these I won't have to replace my flat pans for a while. I feel like I'm always replacing my flat pans every few years because they start to look bad. With these, hopefully that won't be a problem anymore.

Was using way to much aluminium foil and wax paper. And then i seen paula deen using silicone baking mats in one of her cooking videos and where these may not be the ones she used they still work just as good as hers. So far ive made cookies, french fries, shake and bake and everything slides right off. Even thought i ruined them with the shake and bake i made, it looked all burnt but nope all the burnt parts came right off when i tipped it over the trash can.

I'm always looking for a more economical, reusable way to keep my pans clean but still obtain the right level of crispness to baked items. These 1/4 sheet silicone mats have been working very well. I oven bake my fries with a light spray of oil on the fries. In a 400 degree oven, the fries get a nice golden brown and I don't have a sticky pan to deal with! The mats clean up easily. I prefer to hand wash them so the strong dishwasher detergent doesn't bleach or dry out the silicone. Great product. Works well for my small batches of cookie dough. Cookies brown evenly and again, easy cleanup. Definitely 👍 👍

Fits a quarter sized pan just right

After replacing my oven with a countertop convection model I needed new bakeware. I got tired of having to trim parchment paper each time I needed a non-stick surface for my baking sheets so I got the silicone mats. While it makes for an easy cleanup I have noticed that I have to change the way I bake as cookies spread more and the cooking times have to change in order to not over or under cook.
