Tl;dr Not waterproof, wonky straps, and ripped apart. Oh and doesn't stand without support. Sadness.
I liked this bag a lot when I first got it. Thought it was cute, seemed roomy, quality was nice.
I've used it regularly for almost a month now and I carry a laptop, notebook, and some other miscellaneous items. The bag withheld quite well to the weight and was pretty comfortable. Doesn't stand up by itself by the way; it definitely needs to lean on something.
UNFORTUNATELY disaster fell on me when I was trying to put my arm through one of the straps. The strap completely pulled through the plastic thing and I had to re-string it through. And this happened a few times. Enough to get annoying. Especially when this happens right as you exit a super busy train station and end up elbowing people. (Sorry people)
But I was still willing to work with it because I really did like the bag. And then lo and behold, the side pocket suddenly rips. All I put in there is a bottle of water! I don't even know how the seams ripped apart like that randomly! Now I need to get a new bag because even if I sew it back up, what if it happens ALL OVER AGAIN?
Also, a rainstorm kindly let me test out that this bag is not, in fact, waterproof. The items in my bag at the top and bottom ended up a little wet/damp as did all the items in the outside pocket.
