Well color me surprised. I had some white lab coats that were discolored and stained. I've tried bleach, soaking in backing powder for 8 hours, then wash in hot water, spray in wash soak, then more scrubbed in spray and wash followed by wash in hot water. Both helped a little but items still looked old.
I soaked items in Vanish for 6 hours in warm water as specified by the directions, then laundered in a light bleach using hot water an poof, they look white again!! Discoloration is gone and even soiled sleeves and colors look new again. Remarkable!
Biggest beef is the price, but if it allows me to use the $60 ea lab coats for another year, it's worth it. Now wish I'd taken before and after pictures. Will try to upload later with the next dirty lab coat cleaning.
