I purchased this coat several months ago for a trip to Scandinavia and Scotland and I'm so glad I did. I wore it over 1-3 layers, depending on the weather and wind, it kept me dry the whole time. I wanted a full length raincoat without velcro fastenings as velcro ruins sweaters, scarves and blouses. I chose this over the Arcadia II jacket, even though the fit was similar, because that one had velcro fastenings, this one only had velcro on the sleeves.
The coat is very lightweight, I carried it folded in a 2 gallon ziploc bag, inside my backpack and used it constantly. I'm 5'2" and the length was lower to mid-thigh, perfect for leaning or sitting on damp surfaces. Zip pockets were deep and useful. The only cons were the hood, which kept sliding over my forehead and the lack of an inside zip pocket. This jacket was so useful that I bought a second one for backup. 2x fit my 220 lb, so the sizing was true.
