We really love how well this muzzle is working for us. We have 2 female Pitties that can't stand to ever be apart. The only problem with that is that our older girl tends to "red-zone" when ever she is hit with a sudden stressful situation or near any loud excitement. She always attacks her best friend and after several emergency vet visits, we decided to try a muzzle so they can be together safely. We tried the basket kinds, the basic over the nose kind and had the same problems with her nose being rubbed raw. She doesn't need the muzzle when they are in the car or outside so the time to take off and put back on again when they come in was also a pain. This muzzle has been our favorite to date. The cushion around her nose is more comfortable and her rub spots are starting to heal. My only wish is that the colored pad area could be removed to keep clean and maybe replacements available when one pad is being cleaned. Just saying. Other than that I also like the collar and connector included would make this muzzle hard to get off, but we haven't needed it.
