I appreciate the sturdiness and relatively good quality and the fact that the bowl can be removed and washed. However, it’s too big for grinding a small amount of coffee for 1 cup. The minimum that it will grind (The amount that would reach where the blade sits) is too much for 1 cup and that will force you to grind more and leave some ground coffee for the next time which defeats the purpose of buying coffee whole beans and so on. Also what turned me off was how poorly designed the bottom space for it’s cord. It WONT fit completely and you’ll have some cord always hanging when you put it on the counter or back into the cabinet. Also, the coffee ground were inconsistent. Some fine and some medium course. I had to do full 30-40 sec to make sure everything is small and fine grind for pour over but then you get some super fine ground that way in the mix!
I’m thinking of exchanging for a smaller grinder with a better cord retraction. So overall I felt it was a bit pricey for what it offers and it’s somewhat noisy motor; not sure why it’s star rating are so high!
