This unroasted and unsalted product is one of the best I can get. It meets our rigorous quality standards, which prohibit over 100 ingredients for both food and supplements. With premium ingredients at prices I can get down with, grocery shopping becomes so much more than tossing the basics in your cart.

I buy these a lot. Just the right amount of salt. I use in salads and on top of yogurt for a little crunch. If you like sunflower seeds then you will love these!
You'll want to always have them in the cupboard so buy a back up too.

I would prefer ROASTED and unsalted

They're fine for what they are. But they're a little boring, having not been roasted, which would have brought out more flavor.

I realize that the roasting of any seeds (or any nuts, for that matter) basically has the inadvertent effect of also heat stressing the naturally occurring fats in the seeds (or nuts), and that, in turn, results in basically shortening the shelf life of such products (which is less of a problem with roasted and SALTED pumpkin seeds, a.k.a. pepitas, simply because the salt acts as something of a preservative).

I also note that these seeds came from China (but were packed in Canada) and that, due to all of the worldwide pandemic shipping disruptions, the shelf life of many perishable products taking long journeys can be greatly jeopardized, so NOT roasting these seeds is/was probably wise just to avoid spoilage.

Still, though, I have to say, that ROASTED unsalted pepitas can be far tastier than this unroasted version.

But I did know that these were unroasted when I ordered them. It wasn't a surprise.

These pumpkin seeds are just basic quality at a good price for organic, like most products from 365 by Whole Foods Market. They don't pack too much flavor, but they taste good and are quite crunchy, making a good snack or topping for salads, soups or oatmeal bowls. They definitely lack the butteriness and flavor of good quality pumpkin seeds, but are decently `meaty`.
They're not too raw nor dry, and they were pretty fresh. I still preferred to keep them in the freezer to keep them fresh as much as possible.
I would probably not repurchase them, and pay extra for a better quality brand.
