So it is super small and portable and the best part, it WORKS!! I have an american Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer (which is fabulous) and last time I tried to buy a transformer to use in the UK the transformer starting smoking and I had to throw out. This does the job. Read the instructions carefully, there are 2 settings depending on the appliance being used.

Ruined my Vacation

I spent a lot of time researching adapters and converters and I bought this one thinking it would be the best that I could buy online and receive quickly to use for my hair tools while I was traveling abroad. Well I was wrong. It fried and ruined my $200 hair straightener the first day. And wouldn’t even charge my IPhone for more than 5 minutes before shutting off all power to it. The plug sticks out very far from the wall as well when plugged in and it weighs down the entire adapter when anything is plugged into it. I do not recommend this product or any other off brand adapter/converters on Amazon. Stick to your trusted name brand products that you can find at OfficeDepot, Best Buy, Target.

This product comes with a very nice case. The plastic quality is really good and solid. It has 2 modes: converter and adapter. The adapter works in USA, China, uk, EU and Australia. And when it switches to converter mode, it steps down voltage from 220-240V to 110-120V. so I think when I travel to Asian, it will be very handy for me to charge up my electrical toothbrush. Love this product!

This is a great travel adapter suitable for the UK, Europe, and China. I have been traveling a lot and every time I have to buy an adapter, but they are only suitable for each independent country. Those adapters are even more expensive than this one. I remember the time I went to the UK and bought an adapter for 30 GBP. But that one has only UK socket pins.
This adapter is in great value. And it feels very good quality. It's also easy to use, just push the button on the side of the adapter to switch between different socket

Burnt up two appliances. Doesn’t convert from 110-220 like it says. Some equipment I tried plugging into wouldn’t even turn on because it doesn’t put out 110 in converter mode like it says probably more like 60. Plugged in two larger appliances and it fried them in 1 minute. This product is a scam and waste of money.

Not for low wattage items

This product is compact, great for travel. I gave it a 4, not a 5 only because it is NOT for low wattage items like an electric toothbrush, heating pad. You need a minimum of 25 Watts per item to use this. When I explained to the company that I did not appreciate this when I purchased the converter specifically for the above items, I got excellent customer service with easy rapid returns.

Burned my led bulb

I bought two of this conventor adapter. First I tried to use this device for air fryer. It consumes 1400watts. But didn't work, device was trying to start but electricity was cut by the adapter. Later i decided to use it for an led light. I put one of my power extension cable with fuse and surge protection. As soon as I connected the extension cable i saw spark and smoke in the cable. Device and extension cable was burned. I blamed extension cable even though it was working fine before.
I opened second adapter to try with led light without any extension cable. It was working for a while later i noticed light bulb was not working anymore. Too much bad coincidence, i think there was a problem with these adapters. Be careful don't connect expensive equipment to this adapter. It is burning everything.
