Top critical review
2.0 out of 5 starsWay too difficult and time consuming to tighten and removed

I gotta admit I'm severely disappointed in this belt, and I tried REALLY hard to love it. I bought it because I needed a lightweight low profile belt to use while rock climbing and backpacking. Not only is it hardly low profile, but this thing is a pain in the butt to get tight and then to remove.
Unlike a standard leather belt or any bet that has a locking mechanism, there's nothing on this belt to keep it tight while you have to feed it through the other side of the buckle. It's so stiff that it ends up being so loose you can put a fist through it, and you have to screw with it for about 5 more adjustments to get it tight enough. The stiffness of the belt never changed, and after months of use, putting it on and taking it off shockingly never got any easier.
Also, unlike canvas belts with a similar design and no locking feature, ones this is on, you cant just pull the loose end to easily make it tighter. This thing is locked in place. Generally that would be a good feature of a belt of this style, but to even go to the bathroom in the middle of the day started to become a frustrating task. I don't know how people have missed this.
I'll have to try and remember to come back and leave a video to show exactly what I'm talking about. Until then, I'd recommend anyone considering this overpriced and poor-functioning belt to save their money.
