Great product idea

I was very hopeful that this kit would fix my printer problem of gunked up ink, and I think it would have, but I neglected to look at the list of compatible printer models. I realized to late that even though it listed Brother as a compatible brand, my particular model wasn't in the list. I reached out to Best Printers for help and through a series of emails realized my error. It wasn't the product's fault that it didn't work on my printer. I was impressed with the quality of the items in the kit. That's why I was so excited to use it. The Best Printers rep was courteous and patient. Because I had already opened/used some of this product I really didn't think I would get a refund, but it was a no hassle refund. I would definitely order from this company again.

It works but…

We had two printers that needed to be cleaned. One printer was the Brother MFC-J835DW and an Epson XP-446. After watching the video on how to clean the printers, both printers printing issue did not resolve. For the Brother, the black ink still would not print. After examining the line, we noticed the black ink was not flowing at all, as if there was no seal allowing the ink to flow through the line. The colored ink flowed freely and printed with no issue. For the Epson, we got it to print but the print head was causing it to smear the colored ink then all of a sudden the printer shut down and would not turn back on. Both printers we have to recycle now.

The solution does work, but beware it may not resolve the issue at all. The only way you can fully clean the print head is to remove the print head and flush the fluid through it, if possible. I think the print head was damaged after cleaning it on the Epson printer due to it rubbing against the paper towel, hence the smeared ink when printing. The cost for the actual product is too high. You get everything you need, but the bottle of solution is enough to clean just one printer one time. I would not attempt to clean the printer, but just buy a new one.

Product worked great. They need to add warming instruction to the pamphlet for the cleaning solution. The solution worked great and cleaned the old ink from the pads. You need to let area dry for 24 hrs before using your printer. It cleared up the smearing of the black ink as well as the other colors. The bottle will last for at least 1-2 future cleanings Great product.

My Canon TS8320 printer had been printing excellent photo prints (with aftermarket inks ) until a few days ago, after which the prints were washed out and dark tones has all but disappeared. I tried a deep cleaning, and printed a test sheet, but no luck. The Black cartridge was the culprit. After replacing it with a new cartridge, the problem persisted.

I Googled "Canon TS8320 black ink won't work" and found a link to a video "How to fix Canon printer not printing Black". The video showed how to clean a clogged printer head, using "Best Printers Printhead Cleaning Kit).

This kit should work with different brands and has adapters for different brands. The directions are easy to follow.

Notes:

1. If your printer head is removable (mine was) remove it from the printer. before cleaning. Google "Remove printer head (your model printer)" for instructions. You can do it with the head in place, but be sure to clean it thoroughly.

2. If the head is super-clogged, you may have to repeat the process.

3. Be sure to dry the head and the surrounding area completely before testing. After cleaning it I used a hair dryer set on cool to dry it. But be careful not to touch the metal contacts on he head.

4. If you have a different brand, Google "how to clean printer head (Your model)" These tutorials really help.

Did nothing for my printer. But I don't think the problem is a clogged print head. I used the whole bottle, warmed up as instructed. Black print head flushed out completely. Pretty neat how the liquid sprays out of the print head like a ribbon. Flushed completely until the outflow was completely clear, no trace of ink. Still getting same result--test prints have ZERO black. Not even smudging or faded print--It's just a clean white sheet of paper with only the Cyan and Yellow bands. My magenta is not printing either. Since I had no cleaner left, I flushed the nozzle for magenta on the color print head, using just air pressure. Forced out all the magenta until none left. Before all this, I filled all my ink levels to the max. Also tried all the cleaning option utilities. FLUSH option used ONE FOURTH of my inks. Ink tubes inside are completely filled, the black and the colors. Have done several resets, test patterns, even documents. Absolutely NO black, no text. Just a clean white sheet of paper, no smudges. NADA. I'm sure this is a great product but apparently clogged head isn't my issue. THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T RATE ANY FEATURES. Had to give an overall rating but gave 4 stars only because I don't know how it would have done if I did have a clogged print head. I guess I'll buy a new Canon G6020. This one lasted me only 2 years, and I rarely used it.

Epson Ink Jet Cartridge cleaning solution

Quick and easy repair and worked first time. I let it dry overnight after applying to the black ink jet cartridge area and re-inserting all ink carts. I had to play around with the foam material covering the inkjet well area as it came out of place and created streaks on the paper. Once I got it back into place, the print copies now look good.

The Best Printers Printhead Cleaning Kit did clean the printhead on my HP Photosmart 7510. After cleaning and allowing to dry for nearly 24 hours, I installed fresh aftermarket ink. The photoblack and color cartridges are working but the black is not working. I repeated the process but the black is still not working. The cleaning fluid is pushing through the printhead without difficulty. Unfortunately, only after these steps, did I read on the HP website "CAUTION: Do not force water into the printhead, this can cause printhead delamination." There is no obvious damage but did this happen to my printhead? I don't know. But I do know that I would not use this cleaning method again.

Messy results with an ill fiting tube.

While this is an earlier version of a product I puchased in April of 2022, it appears the problem I had with my kit has been resolved. My kit arrived with a tube that would not fit the syringe nor the bottle. Attempting to retrofit the tube to make it fit in order to create force resulted in a mess of the fluid from the syringe and later the bottle flooding the printer compartment, along with the ink it was attempting to loosen from the print head. The fluid worked great at removing the ink from my hands and the subsequently marred surfaces but the tube was not in any way a help.
