Bag is good size, I've carried up to 48 pounds in it. I use it with a daypack for traveling approximately 7 months in foreign countries. The numerous handles on this bag makes it easy to lift up, and bag stands well unlike other bags I've used. I like the large inside pocket for holding paperwork and the large outside pocket for dirty laundry. I traveled through numerous airports and used many shared shuttles, public bus, and taxicabs. I even had several hosts lift it by the telescoping handle without breaking it. Bag is still in great shape after 2 years of traveling, only has a few scuff marks on it. I highly recommend this bag for extensive traveling.
