I bought 2. The first one, I stirred the oil and it was like soup. Even when chilled, in the fridge, it was soup like. I mean really thin. Next jar (plastic container) I poured off 2/3rds of the oil. That made it "normal" and the thickness improved immensely and was spreadable. Ordered again because it does have a great flavor and no sodium. Yes, I know almonds are water hogs, eventually, farmers will figure that out. Years ago, switched from peanut butter to almond butter. Tried lots of brands. This is a keeper. You can always pour the oil into a measuring cup and add back in. But, if you use all the oil in the container, it will be more like liquid and low viscosity, not like a spread.
Update - Reordered, this time measured the oil poured off, it was almost 3/4ths of a cup. Perfect now!
