I work alone in my store these days. I decided to buy this magnetic lock to stop people from walking in when I was in the store room or bathroom. Another reason was the need to control traffic with the Covid-19 situation.
This product has met my needs very well. One night when I forgot to lock the front door it probably kept my store from getting robbed.
The only negative comment I would make is that you have to adjust the swing on your door so that it fullycloses without bouncing back open. The magnet will not pull a typical commercial storefront door closed when it has a hydraulic door closer that isn't properly adjusted.
It would be nice if the manufacturer would add some sort of buzzer to indicate to visitors that the lock was disengaged.
