I bought size 2 for my 8 yr old (he's small for his age, and wears a big kid size 2) and it fit just right. He loved the design of the boots, and the feel of them.
We bought them in November and the soles were already worn out with holes in the heel by March. If they were $10 Walmart boots I wouldn't be upset, but these cost over $40 so I expected them to last a couple years.
By contrast, I bought a pair of Bogs for his sister at the same time and those are still in great shape.
