Gigabyte Windforce cards are bottom of the barrel as far as coolers are concerned

YMMV with this card. Mine made a ton of obnoxious vibration noise out of the box, and ran a bit hotter than I expected from the mild OC on this card. Performance is in line with the average 2060 OC, but that really isn't what should be reviewed on partner boards. Gigabyte cards are cheaper for a reason. Don't get me wrong - my last 3 builds have used Gigabyte motherboards, and I've been very happy with their customer support and the relative longevity of their motherboards, which honestly does bode well for other processing unit-host components that they produce. However, the fans on this thing are absolutely atrocious. It sounds like one of them has thrown a bearing a few days into a *somewhat* taxing usage scenario - we're talking Borderlands 3 DX12 gameplay and a few Unigine Heaven loops. I pulled the card out of my setup, hoping I'd be able to tighten a screw up somewhere or visibly determine what was causing the obnoxious level of vibration. No dice.
Bottom line: if you want a guaranteed great Nvidia card, go with EVGA. Their warranty policy is virtually unmatched, and I've never had an issue with their cards whatsoever. My Gigabyte card is going back in favor of an Anniversary Edition 5700XT, which is next-tier performance at the same performance/$ ratio as the cheapest 2060 (this one).
