Already had to use the tech support after a couple of days

I purchased this service when I purchased a LTE router made by Netgear. Glad I did as you cannot get any help from Netgear even though they say they offer it for free within the first 90 days. I tried multiple ways to get help from Netgear to no avail. So I called up Asurion and their service tech was great! I had only had the router about 5 days when I ran into an issue. Asurion was very responsive. I still have not received any help from Netgear and it has been almost a week since I tried to get help. It is lousy one has to buy tech support because the manufacturer won't honor its own commitment to help the purchaser. I'll think twice before I buy another Netgear product.

Paid for warranty, warranty not honored, policy canceled by Asurion

Asurion warranty FAIL. Paid for protection on my new printer purchased 9-29-19. Printer went bad 4-4-21. Tried to contact Asurion. You can only contact them via their website, no phone number, no email available. Their website said to call Canon, saying it is still under warranty. It was not. chat had no answer. I called Amazon, they gave me an email and a phone number. I emailed Asurion, I get a response saying they do not open emails. I get another response asking for more info. I email them the whole story, they say go to their website and file a claim, same problem, says it is under Canon warranty. Then I get an email saying they have canceled my policy and given me a partial refund for the insurance, but no the printer. So now I have a broken, unwarranted printer.

I had an Orbi Satellite that I purchased more than 2 years ago, in fact I had it so long I had forgotten I purchased the Asurion insurance. It stopped connecting about a month and a half ago so I went back to my Amazon order history, found out at the time of purchase that I had also purchased the insurance, emailed them and was able to recover almost all of the money that I spent on this product making the purchase of Asurion well worth it.

They only apply your money to a Amazon gift card

Claim online absolutely crap. Dealing with a person I give it four stars. Quick turnaround so you can repurchase a new item very good. My only complaint would be that they put your refund on an Amazon gift card and like most people these days I want to shop around for the best price which is not always on Amazon. So that to me would be the biggest inconvenience. I would have liked them to send me a check but they refused. So again they need to have a policy that refunds your money back to your credit card so you can purchase the new item where you can get the best price.

Bought a wi-fi router and 4 year protection from Asurion. Router worked fine the first year, then it failed to upgrade firmware. Tried multiple things without success. Got in touch with Asurion, sent the router to them and they said it was not fixable. Then they refunded me the purchase price of the router.
This was well worth the money I paid for the protection. Thank you Asurion.

I called their claims number and initiated the claim. The claims team is without question the friendliest and attentive people I've had the pleasure of speaking with in recent memory. Within minutes, I received the email to ship the product back. Even when the link didn't produce the shipping label, I called and literally when I was wrapping up the call I had an image of the shipping label in my inbox. Once UPS scanned the label, I immediately received the credit so I could purchase a replacement product. All within hours. Very pleased with the outcome and the level of service.

Filing claim was straight forward and easy. But Shipping label link that was emailed to me never worked. It was very difficult to get a person on the phone to get the actual shipping label sent to me. It took 2 days to get the shipping label sent to me after finally getting a person on the phone. They refunded me the purchase price because they could repair the mobile router nighthawk. I didn't like that it took so long to get this taken care of. I was without a mobile router for over a week!
