Highly recommend….Really paid off!!

I purchased a printer that stopped working properly within the 1st year. When the manufacturer says they can’t help you, what do you do? I called Asurion. They were great with instructing me how to send it to them for a full refund. As soon as I took it to UPS, they scanned it in the system (with the label Asurion sent me) & within minutes I received a code from them to add to my Amazon account. I was then able to order a brand new printer that finally works properly. As you can guess I turned around & purchased coverage from Asurion for my new device. Customer service was amazing.

“We can’t help with routers”!

I thought this would help me fix the product. Nope. They can’t help with tech support. “We don’t help with routers”. Also, contacting them was way too difficult! They transferred me back and forth between customer service and tech support. After being jerked around with some sort of exhaustive transfer game, I just hung up and called Amazon for help. Asurion is still trying to play games via email!! What a waste of money, time, and gray hair.

Before I started, I was convinced that the process would be designed so that it would be so aggravating to complete it that most people would just give up.

But I was completely wrong.

There were some technical difficulties with the link/QR code they provided to get the process started. And that was a little aggravating. But I honestly think it was just some technical issues between them and UPS - and that is not a regular issue with them.

But once we got that fixed, everything happened within a few days to a week.

Very easy. Very smooth. Very satisfied.

Great thing to have but lacking a little

The protection package is great especially for electronics past their warranty period. It's a good value for the money. However the only 2 hangups I have is 1) there really need to be a serious change in the policy about just refunding as a Amazon gift card, and 2) It would be nice sometimes to have a replacement item instead of just a refund. While I appreciate the refund, Sometimes a replacement would be a better option. Because the protection does state that a replacement could be warranted in some cases. And I hope that Asurion actually sees this.
