Wait long time

I sent it to an third-party to fix it the first time they didn't fix it and It returned damaged to my home courtesy UPS. Then I had to call them and wait another week for another box to send it to him. Then wait another two or three weeks for them to dilly-dally around to decide that. Yeah they can't fix it. Finally they refunded me which is great. So I say they're good and they're bad like most extended warranties. You get what you pay for. At least they paid me back what I paid for the item which is now twice the price. Not their fault but due to inflation I guess. All in all, yeah it's worth having asurion. Just don't expect quick results ever

Honored a replacement when my printer was not repairable

I purchased an HP printer in July 2020 and the Asurion insurance along with it. The printer never worked right, but HP (under their warranty) kept assuring me it was the cartridges, even though I was using their InstantInk plan - lol!

Finally, when I couldn't get even a picture to print w/any correct coloring, I decided to contact Asurion and get them to repair or replace. After almost 3 weeks, they decided the printer was irreparable and provided me with an Amazon gift card in the amount of the printer (less taxes and insurance). So, I couldn't complain about that.

The only reason for a 4 and not a 5 star rating, I feel that the decision could've been made much sooner than 3 weeks. I have been w/out a printer/scanner for 3 weeks and then trying to order a replacement printer has had its challenges with supply chain issues. So, bottom line, be prepared that a repair or replacement might take longer than you expect. However, the outcome was at least fair (minus the inconvenience).

Over the years I have purchased several of Asurion' policies, covering a range of items; from <$50 to hundreds of $. It brings peace of mind (at least to me) knowing that the hard earned money I put out when purchasing an item, that that item will remain in as 'brand new' for as long as the policy is in effect. This is done by Asurion's guarantee of either having the covered item repaired (bringing it back to new condition) or replacing the item (if need be) thus having a 'brand new' item (again). Depending on the item, they will arrange for a tech to come to your premises (99% of the time having to do with it's size) and do the work right there, on the spot, or arrange for you to have the item shipped for repair and returned back to you at (0), zero cost to you. Like I said, for a few pennies on the $ it is absolutely worth the price for protecting your hard earned money from going to waste. I highly recommend Asurion' products to anyone wanting peace of mind and to remain worry free over how and what they spent their hard earned cash on. It is truly one for the 'WIN' column.
