I have recently started to make it medium (I'm not popular enough to be "big") on YouTube and I needed to update my equipment. While my partner owns his own high tech camera, I wanted to purchase one of my own so that I didn't have to rely on his all the time. I found a nice, expensive camera (though still better priced on Amazon than any other site) and knew I wanted it. Still, I wanted to make certain I would be able to enjoy the use of my camera for at least the next few years.
I purchased this protection plan so that I didn't have to worry about the camera arriving broken or any mishaps that can happen from time to time. I don't usually purchase protection plans on everything, but I feel as though the camera protection plan was completely worth it. I recommend it!
