A big YES for Dr. Aiden Pierce
May 14, 2019
D*** M. Robinson for listening to the voices in her head. With Choosing Us, Robinson cut my chest open. And with Choosing You she reached into that hole in my chest and ripped my heart out. I mean I'm sitting here writing this review and my heart is still racing from what I read. In no way did I see the way that this story was going to play out, Robinson's typical way of torturing her readers is strong with this one.
Now Choosing You is the conclusion in the Pierced Hearts Duet, so if you haven't read Choosing Us...
1. Stop what your doing/ reading and get your hands on a copy now and get to reading.
2. what the h*** is wrong with you that book was everything.
I wanted to give a brief rundown of the story, but I couldn't think of a way to do so without giving anything away. This story is one that a reader needs to experience on their own. I will say that the emotions fly off the pages from the characters, and you can't help but let this story take hold of your heart and let it squeeze the life out of you. Robinson will have you bleeding out with just the f-ing prologue. Yes the Mother F-ing Prologue. And you will be lucky to not shed a few tears while your feeling all the emotions that will cause your heart to race. So just have plenty of tissues ready. You may want to make sure that your away from everyone so your not having to cuss people out for disturbing your reading. I know I cussed a few people out. And one of those people was Robinson herself for putting me thru the h***. And well if you are an ugly crier, sorry but there is no hope for you with this one.
Robinson said that she wanted to go back to the Good Ol' Boys feel with contemporary romance. But, she f-ing surpassed it with the Pierced Hearts Duet. You can try to prepare yourself but there is no real way to prepare going from laughing, crying, screaming and falling in love with each and every one of the characters.
