I liked it, but I had to return. I needed a 8 pin and a 4+4 for my motherboard power. This PSU is for lower power boards that only have the standard 24 with 8 or 4 pin. Very quiet and well packaged. I should have been more thorough researching.

This thing killed my drives and made my hard drives smoke.

Not sure where to begin. I'm in shambles right now, in tears as I write this. I lost my whole life because this power supply destroyed 4 terabytes of SSDs and smoke started coming out of my HDDs, and anything else that was plugged in SATA Power. Thankfully my CPU, Mobo, and GPU are all fine. I only used this for a few days, then bam everything instantly turned off. After a bunch of headache and trouble shooting I've learned that this PSU had killed my drives. It had my whole life on it, from games to programming projects, to important documents. All gone. This thing sure knows how to make a grown man cry. If you've read this far, just buy a PSU from a better brand like Corsair or EVGA, also take a moment to back up your data. I kid you not I've felt like I've lost a piece of me. Don't get baited my the low price, trust me.

This is a great power supply. I purchased the 850 Watt Gold version for my new build. It is whisper quiet, fully modular, and comes packaged very well. It comes with a high quality bag for your extra cable storage. I must say the quality of the bag impressed me. It shows they put quality forward in all the components of this product.

Installation is straight forward and they printed the logo upside down on one side in case you top mount it - the label will not be upside down. The cables are good quality and standard length. It comes with three 8 pin connectors for those of you installing GPUs that require 3 power connections (3080s etc.)

I got mine on sale for $85 which was a really good deal. Worth every penny. It comes with a 10 year warranty which is incredible.

If you need an 850 watt PSU and this is under $100, get it.

It might seem a bit obvious, especially if you're active in PC building, but no where on this items description does it mention form factor. A very important detail to leave out! I had to get a SFX to ATX conversion plate to get this sucker to fit my tower. That being said, the previous model I had in my gaming pc build was also a TT. That monster lasted me 9 years! You get 5 stars for never failing me (even well past the warranty). And this new unit fires up and does everything a PSU do.
- PLEASE UPDATE YOUR DESCRIPTION SPECS.

This item DOES include a 4 pin connector. See attached pics. If you look very closely, you'll see this 2x4 can be separated in half (I used tweezers to pinch the little snaps until it separated into two 2x2s).

I would recommend this wire have a little sticker attached that says "HEY! I can be separated into two!" Or something like that. I hate to see people going through pain of returning, etc. when it actually does meet their need.

This is the sexiest power supply and it would benefit your build if this was on display inside the case. Even if it's not on display you will get a warm fuzzy feeling inside just knowing it's there. It's like having a hemi engine under the hood. Everybody who sees it in passing might not know you got a hemi... but you will know.
It is a little loud on the non turbo and turbo mode. When turbo mode is off you can put your ear up to it and hear the sound still. I did not have this issue with my EVGA. It makes noise but it's quieter than the case fans so you probably won't notice it. Other then that it's been great.

My system config 5800x3d, x570 master, 6900xt, ddr4 4000 64gb, 6 hdds. CPU and gpu are water cooled system with 3 rads and tons of fans...

Technically 800-1000watts should be more than enough. However under heavy loads my old power supply couldn't ramp up fast enough to meet the demand.

This power supply seems to be able to respond fast enough with a high enough degree of accuracy to keep components happy.(IE not over or undershooting 12v,3.3v or 5v)

I find that oc's that should have worked and didn't now work flawlessly with no issues. Over the system never hangs or has any inexplicable issues as it did before.

Not sure about other thermal take products but this power supply is top notch!

Difficult to unplug some cables

The power supply itself is good, however, I had some trouble with trying to disconnect the motherboard 24-pin cable from the power supply itself. I later found a solution that didn't require me to do so, but if I had to disconnect it, it would have likely been impossible to do it.

But I understand that this is how PSUs are in general with those 24-pin cables being very finnicky.
Just know that if you plug it in, you might not be able to take it out without some extra tools (which I would not recommend using with a PSU).

Also makes a clicking noise when I turn it on/off, but some basic research suggests that this is a feature rather than a problem, still, I will monitor the situation.

I know there was a period of time where Thermaltake was not being looked on well by the builder community. They've turned things around and this power supply is great... very quiet, all the connections I need. In a Fractal Design R5 case, everything is so quiet it doesn't even sound like the PC is on, even during heaving gaming sessions.

Not much to say other than this psu isn’t really loud at all and if you’re a first time modular psu user, know that one of the cpu cables splits in half to be a 4+4 cable.
