Great protection and service

I bought this particular protection plan for a phone system that I purchased. The phone ended up not working right (after about a year or so). There were times when people couldn't hear me or would hear weird noises. I just called Asurion and told them the problem and within about 5 minutes the claim was processed. I printed out the return label, boxed it up and took it to the local UPS drop off point. Later that day, after being scanned for return, I had an email with a number code that you enter into the gift card section on Amazon and the money was added to my gift card account. I was able to order the replacement phone that same day. It was a very easy process and the lady that helped me was very nice. It made me want to be sure to purchase this protection more.

don't waste your money

I purchased this so I could get some tech support if I had trouble connecting the printer to my computer. My computer wasn't recognizing the printer and tech support couldn't help but said they would reach out to Acer (manufacturer of my computer). After a few minutes on hold, I was connected directly with Acer. Acer couldn't help and could not figure why the call had been transferred to them. The second call was transferred in a similar manner directly to Canon. Asurion did NOTHING to help - just kept connecting me with someone else. Finally Canon resolved the problem very painlessly and quickly. I recommend just contacting the manufacturer directly.

Polite people who know the answer, and if they dont , they direct you to someone who does. It saved me having to return the product if it malfunctions. Because if i really wanted it, i can return it.
