I had purchased two new cell phones for my wife and I and decided at the last second to add the protection plans. They cover accidental damage and include tech service. Within one week my phone lost all data reception and would not make a call except on wifi. I contacted my service provider and spent at least an hour over two calls trying to straighten out the problem with no result except frustration. Finally I decided to try the Assurian tech service. The tech had the problem sorted and fixed within 5 min. I was shocked. This insurance is so far very well worth it. I was ready to send the phone back, but now it's fine.
