Outstanding Warranty Service (from experience!)

What I like most about ASURION is their outstanding warranty coverage! My comment is based on fact! I personally experienced their excellent service after an item I purchased from Amazon.com became inoperable and was no longer returnable. When I contacted ASURION there was absolutely no hassle, hesitation, delay or inconvenience. ASURION promptly resolved my issue to my complete satisfaction. That’s why I now buy ASURION on all my items when it’s offered! I appreciate mostly the confidence and peace of mind knowing the exceptional service I will receive from ASURION if there’s a need for warranty coverage.

I had purchased an electric tooth brush with fairywell. It had the. Suggested I then along with my purchase, purchased this asurion coverage as well. After only using the tooth brush for 1 week I had tried to contact Asurion personal care protection, I could not reach a single soul. Nor a phone number to contact customer service, is this a real insurance company or are they scamming people $4 at a time. Disappointed and feel I’ve been robbed of what I paid for.

Terrible customer service, never solved the problem

I hate that I have to buy all warranties through assurion when purchasing on Amazon. I always buy warranties for obvious reasons however I have had more times than I can count with them where I just gave up. I bought a tv with their warranty and they hung up on me 3 times after sitting on hold an hour, no one could figure out my problem so they passed me from agent to agent only to get hung up on. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was placed on hold AGAIN for another 30 min only to have them hang up. I ended up having to call toshiba who I bought the tv through and talk to their supervisor and have him be more than helpful, set an appointment at no cost with best buy to come to my house and fix tv. I went through this so long I ended up going to Walmart and buying another tv until it could be fixed and so if I had to take it back I could. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and that says alot. I still unfortunately buy their warranties because it's the only option. But praying that I never have to file a claim. It's terrible!

It appeared that this protection plan was being added for $2.99. In fact it states that they now want $20-$29.99 for the protection. I am outraged that they are attempting to do this. I DO NOT WANT THIS POLICY!!!!!!!!!!! If it is added to my credit card charges I will notify the Better Business Burrow.

Impossible to make a claim

I tried to make a claim because the laptop I bought has had multiple problems and stopped working. I tried to make a claim and they won't accept it because they say the computer should still be under warranty with HP. I contacted HP. It's NOT still under warranty. I tried again to file a claim. This is what the response was, "It looks like this issue is still covered by the original manufacturer's warranty.
Please contact HEWLETT PACKARD at (800) 474-6836 to take advantage of the coverage they provide for this product. You still have protection through Asurion after the manufacturer's warranty expires.

Your manufacturer's coverage and our coverage together ensures that your product is protected for a longer period of time.

If your manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover it or if you have any questions, please Sorry, no chat agents are available at this time. Please check back later.'

So, they're wrong, there's no one I can speak to about the problem, and I'm just out of luck. I wasted $530 on this laptop and another $58 on the warranty. This is the SECOND laptop i've had trouble with that I bought from Amazon. I'm REALLY getting frustrated here. Every time I have to re-download software for school and work it costs me $150 an hour to set up. Imagine going through this twice and being faced with doing it again. I'm not happy. Not at all.

the plan is very confusing, before i purchased the plan it said that it provides additional coverage during the manufacturer's warranty period which is 5 yrs and after the manufacturer's warranty expires, the plan continues to provide some of the manufacturer's benefits as well as additional benefits and when i got the email for the protection plan it said that coverage is 3 yrs from unit purchased date. 🤔🧐

When you buy something nice on Amazon, you're encouraged to buy Asurion insurance for it. However, when you do, you only get an extremely vague email saying you've bought Asurion insurance. It doesn't even tell you what item you bought the insurance for or provide any details at all, so if you ever need to find it, you have to remember what the item was, go search emails and compare to date of purchase to your Amazon items to see if you did buy insurance, and hope that the email you find matched the item you hope you insured. The bottom line is that they do not intend for you to EVER use the insurance you bought, and they intentionally make it almost impossible to find, much less use. Save your money and just replace whatever you want to insure if it breaks, or insure through homeowner's insurance or something. This 'insurance' is useless.

It's a Waste of Money and You Would Be Better of Fixing It Yourself

This product has a lot of issues.

For starters when I bought this when my mic originally broke it was within the amazon return window and they told me to return it on their end.

Alright seems reasonable so I did that.

So a year or so passes and then the mic cord starts having issues and I need a replacement.

I had to change my email on amazon due to my old one was compromised but due to this was paid under that old email, it will not allow me to use this even though I purchased this with the mic.
When I tried to get help they told me "sorry we can't help you talk to amazon about the issue."

So I did and they said it was their issue because you know it is outside the return time.
So I got sent back and forth and just gave up and wrote this review.

I been trying to get help for over 5 months and ultimately did not get what I paid for from this protection plan. I even verified to multiple help desks that I paid for this but they said they couldn't help me.

So sense they didn't help me, I will help you instead

Here some advice for some of the new snowball mic users when your cord gets faulty because this is the part on your mic that will break for certain after a while.
You know the charge cables for TI-84 calculators?
Those are the same cords for the mic and it costs just as much as this protection plan.

Go get that instead of this because even if you can confirm your purchase they won't help you and redirect you back to amazon every single time.
I seen this in other negative reviews too even without the email issue of the same thing happening so save your money this time, that gut feeling you have to ignore it is right for once.

I hate writing negative reviews like this but if they can not even provide the service I paid for then what is the point of buying it?
