5.0 out of 5 starsI'm not super up-to-date on the latest pepper technology but this stuff is pretty good.

I don't know much about black pepper. I'm a step above the guy that just pockets a handful of those little pepper packets at a fast food place and uses that at home, not judging anybody. I had black pepper in a shaker, and to be honest I'm not totally sure where it came from because I know I didn't buy it and I'm pretty sure my cat has no money. But the point is I had pepper. Don't ask too many questions about it. It might be fresh, it might be 20 years old, I really don't know.
But eventually I ran out and needed more. I guess I was spending too much time on instagram or whatever because suddenly I'm being told I need to "up my pepper game" and "OMG don't buy pre-ground" etc. So I punched "a whole bunch of black pepper" into the Amazon, and found this product.
I also ordered a grinder. The grinder got good reviews. Which I mean to say "I don't know crap about pepper mills either but the internet says the one I have is ok and does a bunch of adjustments so you can flex and do a bunch of cool black pepper-related things for your less-cool black pepper-naive friends if you ever get some".
Look, I'm getting off track here. The point is, you can buy this one pound bag of peppercorns, and put it into a regular ol' peppermill that got decent reviews on Amazon and you'll probably be pretty happy. It's black pepper. It's peppery. You can put it on stuff. I can't think of a single objection I have about this product. Gordon Ramsay isn't going to pop out of your larder and hurl obscenities at you for using this on your tv dinner. Just buy it.
