2.0 out of 5 starsSuitcase OK but Warehouse Storage Packing Terrible
Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2021
This small carry-on bag arrived in an enormous box with no protective cover. It was dusty and slightly scuffed as if it had been sitting open on a warehouse shelf for at least a year and then thrown into the first box available for shipment. I'm no fan of excessive plastic packaging, but some level of protection from dust and warehouse vermin is surely standard practice. I had to wipe down the surface and the crevices around the zippers and handle with a damp cloth just to make it presentable as a gift. I gave my son the option of returning it, but he liked the size and manufactured quality of the bag (thus, the 2 stars, for the product quality, not for the shipper) so opted to keep it as is. The condition upon arrival was unjustifiable. I can only guess that someone working in the Amazon warehouse from which this was shipped was having a terrible day and didn't care whether this bag arrived damaged, dirty, or not at all. Perhaps Amazon needs to improve training or working conditions for their warehouse staff.
