A little UpDate ... I now rate it the best Ginger I have ever bought in 70 plus years!

All my life I have enjoyed pickled ginger. Thats more than 7 decades! and this is one of the best. I am now on my 10Th jar... and the quality does not waver.... from my origianl review....yes it contains aspartame, ok lets get past that. The taste is a strong ginger (ginger lovers like me call it “Hot”) a little goes a long way. Im not your typical consumer of pickled sushi ginger, i eat it right from the bottle with my chopsticks. Yes you can find similar products at the sushi counter at most stores but at more than twice the price. Key Question will i buy it again. YES
Product improves with flavor when refrigerated prior to consumption. The benefits, great for digestion, and i take it with me on airplane rides for motion effects. So yes it has aspartame, and would be great with stevia, but till then This guy is great! One last word ENJOY.

I spent half an hour looking at different kinds of pickled ginger to get the most authentic, all natural one I could. I am a professional chef and was horrified to see aspartame listed as an ingredient. Aspartame is a nasty, artificial sweetener that harps back to the 1950's. It is beyond me that any major food processor is still using this proven carcinogenic that is banned in many countries. It does not state anywhere that this product contains aspartame and to add insult to injury, also unstated is the fact that it is not returnable. Never again with this company and one star to Amazon for supporting and enabling such a dishonest ripoff system.

This product contains Aspartame, which I avoid and basically cancels out the digestive benefits of ginger. The ingredients are not listed on the images on Amazon and unfortunately isn’t eligible for return. Don’t waste your money if you eat really clean and avoid artificial sweeteners.

As a snack, it’s satisfying, yet also freshens breath after fish and other strong flavored foods. It comforts a troubled stomach and can control appetite for many. Anyone confused like I was by the many brands out there, I highly recommend this one. It’s fat free, naturally sweet while sugar free, Kosher, BRC, no MSG and low cal. Best of all, you get two 12 oz jars for a fantastic price!

Fake advertising/ not Japanese product

It is advertised on the website as a Japanese White Sushi Ginger product. It is misleading the buyers thought it’a a Japanese product. However, when I receive the bottle, the word Japanese is gone and it’s a Product of China. It tastes like sugar and artificial flavor.

This is dishonest and this purchase doesn’t allow any refund or return.

I ordered one for myself absolutely love the product I use it with Ahi tuna. But also use it for indigestion bought an additional order for a friend she has terrible indigestion she of course was reluctant in trying it but said when she did she couldn't believe how it gave instant relief. Unfortunately one jar was damaged can't return so she threw that one out. Glad I bought it for her. Too bad jar was damaged.

This ginger has a good color, texture, and of course, the spicy ginger taste. It seems like a healthy thing to eat almost daily given that it uses aspartame as a sugar replacement, but if someone wants to debate this, give me a comment. Overall, I'm liking my new nightly ritual of eating this delicious stuff.
