I got this jacket for a ski trip, but decided to test it out first while on a trip as just a regular winter coat.
While it first started out as a solid winter jacket that served its purpose by keeping me warm & dry with only a few negative (pockets not super warm for hands and top part of zipper is sharp & will scratched my chin sometimes), it started showing wear very quickly.
After only 2 days of wearing, some of the seams on the outside started to fray. Not too big of a deal, as I did not notice a major decrease in its ability to keep me warm. However, after 3 days, the cord lock on the hood ripped right out after I attempted to tighten the hood a bit.
Now I’m stuck the rest of my trip without a functioning hood & will need to find a new jacket for my ski trip.
If you’re going to use this jacket only once or twice, then it’ll probably serve it’s purpose. But if you’re hoping for something that will last a couple trips, which I expect of any decent jacket, look elsewhere.
